Why Conversational AI is One of the Best AI Applications in Insights

Here is why I think Conversational AI is probably the best AI application in insights/market research industry.

If you look at the market research process you already have AI tools for every stage of the process:

  • Designing the research and questionnaire
  • -> AI tools will help you brainstorm and suggest questions/topics

    -> AI is saving you time

  • Analysing the research results
  • -> AI tools will summarise results and extract some good points

    -> AI is saving you time

  • Synthetic data for data collection
  • -> AI tools can mimic some human responses

    -> AI is reducing your cost

These are all good applications and well-worthy having in your tool stack. But if you look at it, you would be able to do those things even without AI tools. More time and more money, but you will still probably be able to do it.

Conversational AI inside a quant survey gives you an element of qual at scale. It enriches your data and gives you (potentially) that always wanted deeper understanding.

It’s still of course not exact as qual research but it’s pushing boundaries and making the gap between quant and qual much smaller.

And without Conversational AI, there isn’t an option B of doing it, it gives us something that we couldn’t achieve without AI.

That’s the exact reason why I think currently Conversational AI is the best AI application in insights industry.
