Insights industry, we really need to settle this debate: do we hate pie charts or not?

Some say pie charts are too basic for professional insights, and they are an easy way of seeing if someone is new to the insights industry.

Others say they don't understand the hate behind them and that they are a simple and good way of showing some data with 2-3 values.

This is obviously a super serious and sensitive topic that has kept us entertained for years, so let's add to it.
