Why I think the Market Research/Insights industry can be vital in the AI era:
- The MR industry has a lot of primary unique data.
- The MR industry knows how to efficiently collect data from various methods.
- The MR industry knows how to analyse data and turn it into insights.
We have the predispositions to build our own AI models, either independently or in combination with existing LLM models.
The key is that other industries lack the crucial skills in data collection/analysis that MR possesses.
Market researchers were essentially prompt engineers throughout their careers; they just didn't have an LLM in front.
We have the potential. It's what we'll do with it that matters! 🚶🏼
